Norway Becomes 44th Member of Kimberley Process

(Rapaport…June 20, 2004) Norway became the 44th member of the Kimberley Process, the international certification plan designed to prevent conflict diamonds – those used to fund civil insurgencies in Africa – from entering the legitimate diamond trade.
